OK I’m going thru phases for some who haven’t noticed. at the tail end of my rampant rebellious phase, and entering a love sick romantic period. i’m still amused by the full blast all strings rock & rolls and electro techno bass (like the ones played by the eastern european taximan) music, but i guess it’s easier to the ears to listen to the liquidy mallow sappy love songs too these days. gross isn’t it? *vomits

and all praises to Allah SWT, i got my part 1 membership exam recently. 5th time lucky, i guess. i realized what made all the difference this time is seeing and knowing the supporting casts behind the scene working together with you in front of your eyes, and the desperation of not letting them down. may Allah reward them with jannah for their endless supports and du’a. amiin.

for all you know, it’s the year end again! probably the most mundane year for blogging for me, not that many of you care much. don’t worry i won’t sulk if you don’t. hehe.

the final few months this year is all about pushing oneself to the limit. like running extra couple of the usual laps, taking few bravery pills to initiate something one thought one could never do, preparing oneself to get crushed by the consequences, going on a strict regime, etc etc.

with relentless du’a, alhamdulillah one can be happy that she could see the flowers blossoming. soon there’ll be the fruits as well.

and one is so happy that she started referring herself as a third person in her blog. crazy lass.

anyway, it’s true that all good things for those who wait. let’s keep working, hoping and praying.

i was picked on the shoulder by my oldest sis as she was trying to point me to a guy from the crowd, whispering. this was during my other sister’s wedding reception couple of months ago.

“look at that man”

he was tall-ish, thin, with james dean black hairdo, looking sharp in his black ray-ban, ironed out white t-shirt and long pants. a bit over the top looking i must say, especially when you are attending your friend’s daughter’s wedding.

“that’s emak’s ex-boyfriend. lucky abah masuk minang dulu, kalau tak…kau bayangkan….”

now i’d imagine 25 odd years from now when we become the subjects of the conversations….

on the same note, 2010 has been a blooming year for baby booms amongst my circles. congratulations on conceiving, delivering, turning 1, 2, 3 or 4. children today are indeed the wealth of tomorrow.

i’m back to studies and work planning. few documents ready and i’m all set iAllah. it’s about time to put the brain to one or two focuses rather than drifting to hopeful dreams nonsense. i can escape from mom’s eyes nagging (they don’t need mouth to nag these days, just by looking) and stop being institutionalize in the room sulking post-delusional-nagging.

i’m also back to baby adoption option. ha. why the need of emotional drains and relationships ga-ga when you can cut short to the end product? well yeah, unlike some people, i know i might not be able to proudly upload the picture of my full bottle pumped up breastmilk on facebook (well even if i could lactate with medications still i wouldn’t too), or proudly and overly confess that my children are indeed the cutest and i just can’t get enough of them! (ok ok we get it, they’re adorable, just be cool about it..) duh.. (well, sorry for the harsh examples, sometimes a little discretion is needed in life i think). but yeah, a non-biological child is a child too. at least we got one less parentless child a parent. right?

pardon moi on the parents bashing again. hahaha..i probably won’t understand you guys till i become one one day..hahahaa (laughing again)

it has come to that time when u feel that u need a break so much, eventhough u are in one. it’s utterly confusing and disappointing trying to figure it out really.

i need to lose 8 more freaking kilos. i busted my left knee and wudn’t go more than 4km without crying at night of some pains paracetamol couldn’t relieve. and i crave for trivial food all the times. like cendol. with jagung in it. ughh.

few words that are totally despicable at the moment = karma. irony.

and also congrate -> can’t stand reading this word being abused so badly. please do it right, it’s congrats!

few other debates (between my left & right brain that is)

iphone vs. bb (trivial)
older (or slightly younger) vs. much older guys
gigi besi vs. no gigi besi
new colour for rory. any thoughts? (current = silver with black top and side mirrors)

and then there’s this new battle between an iphone and a blackberry.

i’m an apple person. an apple thoroughbred you may say. those times when you think an itouch is a cult and refused to join in, i’ve already in that cult and i didn’t care what you think. i own a first generation white ibook that doesn’t even play a vcd/dvd. just to prove the fact that i am an apple person. (although i got the latter for free from the college, and yep, mine’s still amazingly working after 8 years!)

so there shouldn’t be any issues you say. by default, i should be picking iphone. yes by principles. except, principles do change. people do too.

you see.

the new iphone gives you a fast video call connection, has got a sleeker look, now comes with imovie and high def video editing, the camera’s upgraded to 5mpixels, etc etc. it’s the fresher and funner phone than the rest of the same generation, the icons are pretty and the apps are cool . it’s the gem of all the iphone models. yes it’s like that 19 y/o long legs model you’d wanna bring out for a date and ‘touch’! (pun intended)

and then there’s the blackberry. which has got so many QWERTY buttons. long has gone the time when you can send text messages using one thumb. nonetheless, it has imposed its own standard, where only the bold and the serious are dared to use. ‘it’s for the businessmen..’ they said. it gives you a live connection with other ‘berrians’ via bbm/ym so communications resume. it’s for the people who likes to be connected. and it’s got whatever functions and apps an iphone can give, but, in a smarter white collared appearance. it’s true, if you’re sick of some fresh and fun ‘boys’, berry is definitely ‘the man’ for you.

on my own note, iphone is an individual entity. he’s fun and the fun is his and only his own. berry connects, and he connects to my family. so he wins?

so which one is it gonna be? what if i’m sick of ‘touching’ and wants to ‘push’ the buttons instead? ha! (dodge)

and the battle continues..
